versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR

O R D E R

% 09.12.2015 The petitioner has challenged the order dated 15.09.2015 whereby his prayer for being released on parole for finding out a suitable life partner for his daughter and for maintaining family and social ties was rejected. The rejection was primarily on the ground that the petitioner had availed of total five weeks of furlough during the current year i.e 2015 including three weeks furlough which lasted on 28.05.2015. Mr.Jamal Akhtar, proxy to Mr.Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel (Crl.), with reference to the status report submits that the ground taken by the petitioner for his release on parole namely finding out a suitable match for his daughter of marriageable age has been found to be non existent as, on date, the perspective groom has already been searched by the efforts of the wife of the petitioner.

Considering this aspect of the matter, the present petition is dismissed with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority at a later date when such release would be required by the petitioner. ASHUTOSH KUMAR, J DECEMBER 09, 2015 k
