This is a joint application filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short '1996 Act') for extension of time. 2.
The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal entered upon reference on 28.6.2017.

The record also shows that with the mutual consent of parties, the statutory period of twelve (12) months was extended by another six (6) months in a proceeding held on 24.10.2017 before the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.1 Consequently, extended period is coming to an end on 28.12.2018. 4.
Learned counsel for the parties inform me that the matter is poised at the stage of arguments before the Arbitral Tribunal. O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 388/2018

It is, in these circumstances, that a prayer has been made for extension of time.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to extend the time for pronouncement and publication of the award by another five (5) months commencing from 28.12.2018. 7.
