% 27.04.2016 We may note that that wife of the petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India on the ground that her husband has been missing since 15.09.2015.
The State has brought to the notice of the court that the husband of the petitioner is in heavy debt and a large number of persons have instituted the cases / complaints against him and as per their information the husband of the petitioner is wilfully absconding.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction should be issued to the respondents not to harass the petitioner even if her husband is in debt. Mr. Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel for State submits that there has been no unnecessary harassment of the petitioner.
The petition is dismissed as not pressed.
