None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner since morning despite passover.

On the last date of hearing also none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking protection against threat to him and his wife from his son (respondent no.4) and his wife (respondent no.5) and praying for issuance of directions to the police to protect him from Respondent nos.4 and 5.

Status report has been filed by the State to the following effect. "An enquiry was conducted regarding the above said facts. During the course of enquiry, it was found that the respondent Nos.4&5 have already vacated the house of the petitioner and living separately. As such there is no threat to petitioner and they are living peacefully".

In view of the above, it appears that the petitioner is no more interested to pursue this writ petition.
