By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking parole for a period of one month for re-establishing social ties with the family and society.

Status report has been filed by the State mentioning therein as under:- "The presence of the petitioner Jalbir is not required for the purpose of treatment of his mother. She is residing with other son peacefully. They are capable to care their mother. The statement of the neighbour Ravinder along with his brother Satish Kumar were also recorded which are attached herewith. There is constant apprehension of jump the parole. His application for parole is strongly opposed."

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
