A fresh Status Report is handed over by Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel (Crl.), GNCTD, wherein it is stated that on 20.12.2018, the common tailor, who caters to the family of both, the missing girl and the missing boy, has been interrogated. But surprisingly, no records have been maintained in this regard. Further, it is stated in para 4 of the Status Report that the family members of the suspect, Shahrukh, have been interrogated but nothing material has come out. The CDRs of the mobile numbers of the suspect, Shahrukh, his younger brother and other relatives have also been scrutinized but no clue has emerged. During the investigation, the Facebook account of the suspect, Shahrukh has been identified and a letter written to W.P.(CRL) 3809/2018

Facebook to provide the login activity details of the said account, which are awaited. The facebook account of the missing girl in a different name, as mentioned in para 9 of the Status Report is stated to have been traced and another request has been sent to Facebook to provide the details of the login activity of the said account.

During the investigation, it has transpired that the suspect, Shahrukh has about 2,000 facebook friends, many of which are common to that of the missing girl and are being verified for more clues. The e-mail account of suspect, Shahrukh has also been traced and a letter addressed to Google for furnishing detailed information relating to the said account. Additionally, proceedings under Section 82 of the Cr.P.C. have been initiated against suspect, Shahrukh. The Status Report is taken on record. 3.

The matter is directed to be transferred forthwith to the AHTU Unit of the Crime Branch for further investigation, which shall be continued in lines with the latest Status Report. The next Status Report shall be filed by the DCP of the said Unit.
