% 05.01.2016 The present petition has been filed from jail seeking parole for the purposes of performing last rites of the father of the petitioner. It has been pointed out by Ms. Richa Kapoor, learned Additional Standing Counsel that for the same relief, the petitioner had filed a petition through a private lawyer after the present petition was filed in the Registry. The second petition preferred by the petitioner was allowed. In the second petition referred to above, there is no reference of any petition having been filed earlier.
After having learnt that, Ms. Naomi Chandra, learned counsel from the Legal Aid, seeks permission to withdraw this petition.
