% 18.11.2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read with Sections 135/150 of Electricity Act, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagar and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have settled the matter amicably with BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd./respondent No.2 and the petitioners have already deposited the bill amount of Rs.20,141/-. He has further submitted that the payment was of civil liability and it has nothing to do with criminal liability and submits that the present FIR No. 625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read with Sections 135/150 of

Electricity Act, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagar be quashed. Counsel for respondent No.2 has admitted that the matter has been compromised and the payment of the bill amount has been deposited by the petitioners and he has no objection if the present FIR in question is quashed against the petitioners.

Looking into the above facts and circumstances, since the matter is settled between the petitioners and the BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd./respondent No.2 and the bill amount has already been deposited, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 625/2012, under Section 379 IPC read with Sections 135/150 of Electricity Act, registered at Police Station-Jamia Nagar and all proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
