Bail Appln. 2990/2018 Complainant alleged in the FIR that his brother-in-law (since deceased) returned home on 23.02.2018 at about 1:00 pm and told him that one boy had beaten him. Since there was no visible injury on the person of deceased, therefore, he was not taken to any hospital. Deceased was in the habit of consuming liquor. At about 3:00 am deceased told him that he was having pain in his abdomen. He took him to a hospital where deceased died on 25.02.2018. As per the post-mortem report, deceased died on account of

septicaemia consequent to abdomen injury.

On 28.02.2018 one Domilal made a statement before the Investigating Office that petitioner and coaccused Ranjit Mandal had stopped the deceased on 23.02.2018 at about 08:30 pm near Anandpur Satsang Bhawan, Vijay Vihar. Petitioner snatched cigarette of deceased which resulted in scuffle between them. Petitioner also gave beatings to the deceased. Investigation is over, inasmuch as, charge-sheet has been filed. Petitioner is in custody for about 9 months. Keeping in mind totality of the facts and circumstances of this case, petitioner is admitted to bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court.

Bail application is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
