O R D E R

% 11.02.2019 The Delhi Police has filed a status report dated 8th February, 2019, authored by the SHO, Police Station Karawal Nagar, Delhi. The same is taken on record.

A conjoint reading of the various status reports filed on behalf of the Delhi Police reflect that, Ms. Mamta, the 25 year old wife of the petitioner, has left her home of her own free will and accord on the 4th July, 2018 and despite all their best efforts, as elaborated in the said status reports, the Delhi Police has been unable to locate Ms. Mamta.

In view of the foregoing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition, at this stage. Leave granted.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly. W.P.(CRL) 3833/2018

Needless to state that, the Delhi Police shall continue with their efforts to locate Ms. Mamta and inform her family in this behalf, at all appropriate stages.
