(Comm.) 400/2018 This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pass the Award.

Col. Rakesh Kharb (Retired), Executive Director appears on an advance notice on behalf of the respondent. He submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court. The respondent vide letter dated 12.12.2018 addressed by the counsel for the respondent to the counsel for the petitioner has also given consent to such extension being granted.

Having perused the contents of the petition and no objection expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award is extended till 28.02.2019.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
