Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of the FIR No.232/2013 registered under Sections 323/341/354/506 IPC at PS Jaitpur. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant / respondent No.2 amicably.

Perusal of the file reveals that respondent No.2/ complainant has not appeared so far despite various opportunities to report settlement.

Since none is present on behalf of the complainant to report settlement, the FIR in question cannot be quashed on that ground. The petition is dismissed.
