1. The Petitioner who is an SC candidate and sat for the position of SubInspector in the Delhi Police and ASI in the CISFs, is aggrieved by her nonselection despite clearing all stages of the exam.

2. In the short reply filed by the Respondents, it is stated that although the Petitioner did qualify in the written test by securing 161 marks, i.e. 128.50 in paper I and 32.50 marks in paper II, the marks were still less than the cut-off mark for the last selected SC category candidate for all posts. In para 7 of the reply, the cut-off marks in the last selected SC female candidate in each of the categories of Delhi Police as well as CAPFs have been set out. The least of this is 185.25 being for the post of SI in BSF.

3. With the factual position being this, it is not possible to accede to the prayer of the Petitioner that she should be included in the list of selected candidates.

4. The petition is accordingly dismissed.
