% 31.01.2019 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI P.R. Hudda of police station Dwarka Sector 23. He submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide a Compromise Deed dated 07.09.2018. He further states that he has already received entire settled amount of `10,000/- from the petitioner and has no objection in case FIR No. 251/2016 under Sections 279 IPC registered at police station Sector 23 Dwarka is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the
interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
