Issue notice. Mr. Gupta, advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents no.1 and 2, while Mr. Bindra, advocate accepts notice on behalf of legal representatives of respondent no.3.

Learned counsel for the respondents say that they do not wish to file a reply as they do not oppose the prayer made in the petition for extension of time.

The record shows that upon the earlier award being set aside and the Arbitrator being changed by this Court, the substitute Arbitrator, Hon'ble Mr. Justice B.D. Ahmed, former Judge of this Court took charge of the proceedings.

As a matter of fact, the parties had approached this Court on an earlier occasion to extend the time as there was delay in obtaining the arbitration record from the previous Arbitrator.

Learned counsel for the parties inform me that the matter is at the stage of arguments and that they would require further extension of time to conclude arguments in the matter. It is stated that time required to render the award would also have to be factored in while granting extension of time.

Given the circumstances noted above, as prayed, six (6) months time commencing from 13.1.2019 is accorded for concluding the arbitration proceedings and for publishing the award.
