% 21.02.2025 CM APPL. 10823/2025 (for disposal of contempt petition) 1.

The present application has been moved by Union of India with the prayer that the present contempt petition may be disposed of, in view of the fact that the matter is pending adjudication before the Hon9ble Supreme Court and stay has been granted.

During course of the arguments, it was also submitted that as per the outcome of the above said Special Leave Petition i.e. SLP (C) Diary No. 6040/2020, the petitioner can always either revive the present contempt petition or can file a petition afresh but there is no point in keeping the contempt pending.

Learned counsel for petitioner does admit the above said factual matrix and submits that the proceedings are lying stayed. the present contempt petition.

He, however, seeks liberty to revive the present contempt petition by moving appropriate application or to file contempt petition afresh as per the outcome of the above said SLP.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
