% 17.01.2020 During the course of hearing, ld. counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner who retired on 31.12.2018 has been extended the pensionary benefits. It is however contended that some other retiral benefits are still remaining outstanding. The instant contempt petition came to be filed alleging non-payment of the pensionary benefits. In the event, any other retiral benefit is remaining outstanding and payable by the respondents, the petitioner should make a representation to the University

i.e. Vishwa Bharati University, in the first instance and should he have any surviving grievance, it shall be open to the petitioner to have recourse to the remedy(ies) as may be available under law.

Taking into account the totality of facts and circumstances, the contempt proceedings are dropped.
