CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 20.12.2018 Respondent No. 2-Ms.Ritu Saini is present in Court and is identified by ASI Brahm Prakash of police station Sunlight Colony. Respondent No. 2 states that she is living with petitioner No. 1 after settling the dispute and has no objection in case FIR No. 463/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony against the petitioner and his relatives i.e. petitioner Nos. 2 to 6 on the complaint of respondent no. 2 is quashed.
Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be
served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 463/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
