By this petition, petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.545/2018 under Section 307 IPC registered at PS Tilak Nagar and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that parties have settled the matter. 2.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice. 4.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State has brought to the notice of this Court the MLC which shows as many as 10 incised wounds inflicted upon the respondent No.2/complainant/victim on the neck and the W.P.(CRL) 3929/2018

abdomen region resulting in exploratory laparotomy conducted on the respondent No.2 both on the neck region as well as abdominal region. The injuries are obviously grievous in nature. However considering the manner in which stab wounds have been inflicted, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise. 5.

Petition is dismissed.
