The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that direction be issued to the respondents to conduct an enquiry and take necessary action against the medical health care providers serving at the respondent no.1 hospital.

The petitioner claims to belong to the economically weaker section of society.

She states that she was provided medical assistance at the respondent no. 1 hospital, for the delivery of her child. It is stated that she was admitted at the said hospital on 27.10.2017 and was discharged on 31.10.2017. She alleges that during the said period, certain employees of Hindu Rao Hospital had charged various sums of money from the

petitioner including payment for gloves, escorting the petitioner to the operation room, charges for hospital bed, bed sheets and a hospital gown. 4.

A perusal of the petition indicates that there is no material produced by the petitioner to substantiate the aforesaid claims. It is also noticed that the petitioner has filed the petitioner almost one and a half years after the petitioner was discharged from the said hospital. 5.

Nonetheless, if the petitioner has particulars of the persons to whom such payments were made, it would be open for the petitioner to file a complaint with respondent no.1.

If such a complaint with full particulars is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the concerned authority at Hindu Rao Hospital shall examine the said complaint and take such steps as considered appropriate. 6.
