% 05.08.2016 In compliance with the order dated 09th July, 2015, the respondent has passed an order dated 27th June, 2016. The same is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is now seeking amendment of his writ petition to incorporate the prayer for promotion with effect from 29th June, 2011. Since the issue of date of promotion of the petitioner is pending adjudication before the Division Bench, this Court deems it appropriate to close the present contempt proceedings. Accordingly, the same is closed. However, the rights and contentions of all parties are left open.
