% 28.12.2018 This is the petition filed seeking quashing of order dated 29.11.2018 in eviction petition no. 37/2018 before the District Magistrate, District East Shastri Nagar whereby the petitioner has been directed to vacate the matrimonial home under the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2016.

Mr. Zavid Hanief, learned counsel appears on behalf of the Government of NCT of Delhi on an advance copy. The attention of this court is drawn to Rule 22(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Rules, 2016, where there is a provision of an appeal of the order of the Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate before the Commissioner.
