O R D E R

The learned counsel for the respondent says that in so far as the principal amount claimed, which is Rs.96,413/- is concerned, a cheque bearing no.073063 dated 16.02.2016 for Rs.96,413/- drawn on Corporation Bank in favour of the petitioner has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner says that some amount should be paid towards interest. Both counsels agree that the interest can be quantified at Rs.17,000/-.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, on the following terms :- CO.PET. 968/2015

(i).

That the learned counsel for the petitioner has been handed over a cheque in the sum of Rs.96,413/- qua the principal amount. (ii).

In so far as the interest is concerned, the respondent will give a cheque for the said sum within one week from today. 4.

Mr. Ajay Garg, Vice President of the respondent, says that both, the cheque which has been handed over in court today and the one that will be issued and delivered to the petitioner in the sum of Rs.17,000/- will be honoured on presentation. 5.

In case of default, the petitioner will have liberty to revive the present petition and take recourse to any other remedy that may be available to it, in law.

The captioned petition and the pending application are disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
