By way of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner has made the following prayers:- (a) To provide safety and security to the petitioner and take appropriate penal action against respondent Nos. 3 and4;
(b) To direct the respondents not to harass and torture the petitioner in future.

Status report has been filed by the State. The relevant para of the status report is reproduced as under:- "In this regard, it is submitted that the petitioner visited her home on 13th December, 2015 and stayed with her parents for two nights and again visited her home on the eve of Christmas on 25th December, 2015 and stayed with her parents. The W.P.(CRL) 2587/2015
petitioner also contacted with her parents on mobile phone regularly. Hence, there is no threat to the petitioner now." 3.
Petitioner is present in person and submits that she may be permitted to withdraw this petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
