1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. W.P.(C) 260/2019

2. The Petitioner is seeking relief in respect of the recruitment which took place for GD/Tradesmen in the Indian Army way back on 26th October, 2014.

3. The Petitioner waited for two years before approaching the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) in 2017. That petition stood dismissed as withdrawn on 3rd October, 2017. The Petitioner then waited for more than a year to approach this Court.

4. It is clear that the Petitioner is not diligent in pursuing his remedies and the petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of laches. S. MURALIDHAR, J.
