% 31.12.2018 The writ petition under Article 226 read with Article 21 of the Constitution of India seeks protection of life and property from Mr. Rajesh and Mr. Pramod Kumar.
On 13.12.2018, Petitioner made a complaint to SHO, P.S. Safdarjung Enclave reporting the incident of receiving threat calls and requested for appropriate directions.
Today, learned ASC for State has handed over the copy of NCR registered under Section 155 Cr.PC for offence under Section 506 of IPC on the basis of the aforesaid complaint. The same is taken on record. She further states that the mobile number of SHO, P.S. Safdarjung Enclave, Beat Constable and other concerned officer have been provided to the petitioner and he has been assured that he would not receive any further threat calls. Petitioner can nonetheless contact any of the concerned officers in case he receives any further threatening calls.
Learned counsel further assures that Respondents will take all necessary steps that are necessary to ensure security of the Petitioner. For the present, Petitioner is satisfied with the response and the steps taken by the Respondents.
