% 22.02.2016 The present criminal revision petition has been filed by the petitioner against the order dated 2nd September, 2015 of dismissal of appeal passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge by which the learned ASJ upheld the conviction of sentence granted by learned Metropolitan Magistrate against the present petitioner in a case arising out of FIR No.24/2008 registered under Sections 279/304A of the Indian Penal Code.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

that he does not want to press the revision petition on merit. Consequently, the present revision petition on the merit of the case, is dismissed and the order of Court below is upheld. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the sentence awarded under Section 304A of the Indian Penal Code, for the period of one year, maybe reduced to some level. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, this court is of the considered opinion that the sentence awarded by the Court below under Section 304-A of the IPC, is reduced to nine months. With the above observation, the petition and & Crl.M.B. No.131/2016 & Crl.M.A. No.1079/2016 are disposed of. P.S.TEJI, J FEBRUARY 22, 2016 aa
