The petitioner is present in Court. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of an appeal before the Commissioner of Police. He has also referred to an order dated 28.12.2018 in W.P.(C) 14088/2018 titled as 'Nishant Mittal v. Commissioner of Police & Anr., whereby the petition filed by the petitioner's brother in respect of another eatery in the vicinity had been withdrawn with liberty to avail of an alternative remedy. 2.
The petitioner is present in Court and he seeks to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to seek alternative remedy before the Commissioner of Police. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Police. It is further directed that if the petitioner approaches the Commissioner of Police within a period of one week from today, the Commissioner of Police shall
consider the petitioner's appeal uninfluenced by any question of delay, and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one week, thereafter.
