By filing the present application under Section 438 CrPC, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.940/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/506/34 IPc, PS Vikas Puri, Delhi. 2.

Learned counsel for the parties submits that though mediation proceedings have failed but parties have arrived at a mutual settlement and MOU has been signed. The memorandum of understanding duly signed by the parties has also been placed on record.

Complainant is present in person alongwith her counsel and submits that she does not oppose the prayer of the petitioner for release on anticipatory bail.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case and that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/IO concerned. However, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required by the SHO/IO concerned. 5.

Application stands disposed of.

As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
