None has appeared on behalf of the complainant / respondent No.2 despite service.

Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.49/2012 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC at PS Rajouri Garden. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably with the complainant / respondent No.2.

Counsel for the petitioner has shown order dated 02.11.2015 before Division Bench of this Court in MAT.APP.(F.C.) 156/2014. The matter was settled there and statements of the parties were recorded. In the said petition, the complainant / respondent No.2 had given no objection for quashing of the FIR No.49/2012 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC at PS Rajouri Garden. on 02.11.2015 in the said proceedings reveals that the respondent No.2 had settled all disputes and differences with the petitioners. She had received the balance payment of `1,35,000/- vide DD No.593031 dated 27.10.2015 drawn on Syndicate Bank, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi.

The petition is supported by affidavit of petitioner No.1. Copy of order dated 02.11.2015 of Division Bench of this Court in MAT.APP.(F.C.) 156/2014 has been placed on record. Since the dispute between the parties has been settled, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.49/2012 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC at PS Rajouri Garden and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of.
