% 30.11.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner states, on instructions from the petitioner, who is present in person, that he would withdraw the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is suffering from several serious ailments and his facing financial insolvency. The petitioner would move an application for compassionate allowance. In view of the above statement, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

We clarify that we are not expressing any opinion on the question whether or not compassionate allowance should be paid. Of course, it is

open to the petitioner to file relevant documents and papers to justify his claim, including the fact that he had worked for twenty years. SANJIV KHANNA, J.
