% 08.03.2016 Matter has been listed on mentioning as it was submitted by Mr. Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel for the State that Jyoti has been recovered. Jyoti is present in Court. She submits that she had left her parental home voluntarily and she is happy staying with her in-laws. We are informed by Mr. Mehra that Jyoti is on the family way and in her seventh month of her pregnancy. We had requested the counsel for the State to inform the petitioner as also the counsel for the petitioner regarding listing of the matter today. The matter was passed over.
The parents of Jyoti are present in Court, they are unhappy with the
marriage of Jyoti with Vijay. They submit that they would cut off family ties with Jyoti. Jyoti again reiterates that she is happy with the marriage and does not want to join the company of her parents. Petitioner and his wife shall remain bound by the statement made by her husband. Accordingly, the petitioner does not wish to press the petition. The petition is dismissed as not pressed. We direct the IO concerned to ensure the safety of Jyoti and her husband and her in-laws.
Date of 09.03.2016 stands cancelled.
