Learned counsel for the petitioner in view of the judgment delivered by this Court in the case of Arshpreet Kaur Vs. Guru Teg Bahadur Polytechnic Institute and Ors. in W.P.(C) No.811/2017 decided on 30.1.2017, and which judgment refers to earlier judgments passed by this Court including a Division Bench of this Court interpreting Section 32(d) of the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Act, 1971 states that instead of dismissing this petition, this petition be transferred for decision to the competent District Judge.

Accordingly this writ petition is transferred for decision to the District & Sessions Judge, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi and the District & Sessions Judge will treat the case before him as having been filed on the date when this writ petition was filed in this Court. 3.

Parties to appear before the District & Sessions Judge, New Delhi District, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi on 20th April, 2017. Registry will ensure that file of this Court is available to the concerned District & Sessions Judge on the date fixed.
