% 26.02.2016 1.
This order is in continuation of the order dated 13.1.2016. On 13.1.2016, having regard to the limited grievance of the petitioner that he had been wrongly declared ineligible for being appointed to the post of Sub Inspector/Assistant Sub Inspector in the Central Armed Police (CAPF)/ Delhi Police on account of short of height requirements, which stipulated a minimum height of 170 centimeters for a candidate, the petitioner was directed to report to the Commandant of the Army Research and Referral Hospital, New Delhi on 20.1.2016, with a request to the Hospital to constitute a Board to verify his height and submit a report in a sealed cover to this Court.
2.
Pursuant to the said order, a report has been received by the Registrar General of this Court from the Commandant of the Army Research and Referral Hospital, New Delhi, in a sealed cover. On opening the sealed W.P.(C) 11170/2015 Page 1 of 2
cover, the Report has been perused. It states that a Board was convened on 21.1.2016, for conducting the medical examination of the petitioner and upon examining him, the Board has opined that his height is 169.6 centimeters. The petitioner therefore falls short of the prescribed height requirements of a minimum height of 170 centimeters. 3.
In such circumstances, the petitioner is not entitled for being appointed to the subject post due to ineligibility of height. The aforesaid report is taken on record, with a copy furnished to the counsels for the parties.
4.
The petition is accordingly disposed of, along with the pending application.
