Raj Kumar v. State
$~5 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(CRL) 2879/2015 RAJ KUMAR ..... Petitioner Through:
Ms.Pallavi S. Kansal, Adv.
versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:
Mr.Avininder Singh, A.S.C. for the State
CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE PRATIBHA RANI
O R D E R
% 16.05.2016 1.
The petitioner is seeking release on furlough for a period of three weeks.
2.
Vide order No.F-10(1224)/CJ/Legal/2015/4618 dated 05.10.2015, the Competent Authority rejected the prayer of the petitioner for release on furlough mainly on the ground of his unsatisfactory conduct. 3.
Since the petitioner did not satisfy the para 26(1) of parole furlough guidelines, parole was rejected. Nominal roll shows that he was granted four weeks parole from 30.09.2015 to 29.10.2015. Status report has been filed by the State showing his involvement in 18 cases. 4.
Since the request of the petitioner has been rejected by the Competent Authority on the ground that he did not earn 3 annual good conduct remissions, which fact is not disputed by the counsel for the petitioner, no interference is warranted with the decision by the Competent Authority to reject the request of the petitioner for release on furlough. 5.
The writ petition stands dismissed.
