The present application has been filed by the Petitioner praying for reduction of surety amount from Rs.10,000/- to ₹5,000/- and to waive of the condition of one surety.

Heard. Since no cash is required to be deposited at the time of furnishing surety bond and even otherwise the amount of Rs.10,000/- is not on the higher side in a case like the present one in which the Petitioner is undergoing sentence for committing the offence punishable under Section 394/397/34 IPC, no ground is made out to allow the prayer of the Petitioner for reduction of surety amount.

Application is hereby dismissed.

Petitioner be informed through concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
