% 07.12.2015 The present petition seeking protection has been filed by the petitioners, who out of love and affection and on coming of age, married each other in temple.

It is submitted that the marriage has not been accepted by the family of petitioner No.1.

Respondent No.4, who is the father of petitioner No.1, has been doling out threats to petitioner No.1 for stepping out of the wedlock. During the course of hearing, it is pointed out that respondent No.4, without any notice to him, is present in the Court. He submits that he was initially opposed to the marriage but now he has reconciled to the fact that his daughter is a major and she, under the authority of law, has a right to choose her partner. He also submits that he shall maintain contact with his

daughter and son-in-law and will not create any trouble for her and her husband.

Taking such statement of respondent No.4 to be correct, this Court is of the opinion that no threat exists today as against the petitioners. In that view of the matter, the petition as well as the application are disposed of as having become infructuous.
