The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.PC in case FIR No. 1376/2015 under Sections 376/506 IPC registered at Police Station Dabri. Status report is on record. 2.

By an order dated 09.12.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and when required.

Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Status report reveals that the prosecutrix and the victim were acquainted with each other since 2010. Physical relations took place between the two. The prosecutrix is a married lady and never lodged the complaint at the earliest with her husband or the police. On 31.10.2015, she attempted to cut veins of her hand. BAIL APPLN. 2667/2015

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of his arrest, he be released on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
