By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioners are seeking direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to restore/resume two personal security officers which has been withdrawn by the respondent No.2 on 26th November, 2015. 2.

Status report on behalf of the State has been filed mentioning therein that police protection was provided to the petitioners in terms of the orders of the Hon'ble Court and the same is still continuing. It is further mentioned in the status report that presently 5 PSOs have been provided to the petitioners i.e. 2 male and one female PSO during day time and 2 male PSOs during night.

In view of the status report, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
