Learned counsel for petitioner, in all fairness, brings to the notice of this Court order dated 06.11.2024 passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in relation to application moved by DDA, which was given Diary No. 212/2023. The aforesaid application, along with several other applications, was taken up by Hon'ble Supreme Court on 06.11.2024 and relying upon the direction given in Government of NCT of Delhi through its Secretary, Land and Building Department & another vs. K.L. Rathi Steels Limited and others: (2024) 7 SCC 315, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has granted another period of one year to DDA from the date of such order.

Thus, the time limit for initiation of fresh acquisition proceedings with respect to land in question has now been further extended by a period of one year.

Learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, submits that in view of aforesaid, petitioner does not press the present writ petition. However, they seek liberty to approach this Court again, in case nothing is done by DDA despite expiry of aforesaid period of one year. 4.
In view of the above, present writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. 5.
Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
