By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking parole for a period of three months on the ground of filing SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Status report has been filed by the State to the following effect:- "During enquiry state of petitioner's father Mohd.Shabir recorded. He stated that he has seven children and all are unmarried. He works as Washerman. He is residing at H.No.P117, 20 Foota Road, Nafees Road, Batla House, Jamia Nagar, Delhi from last 18 months as tenant. He produced Election I.D.No.DL/02/006/231267 and address mentioned in it is S-1/1, Joga Bai Extension, Okhla, Delhi. He has no permanent address. He used to change his address frequently. He is not residing at the address mentioned in this writ petition as P-96, P Block, Nafees Road, Batla House, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi."

A perusal of the nominal roll also reveals that overall jail conduct of the Petitioner has been unsatisfactory and punishment dated 17th October, 2011, 8th February, 2011 and 17th August, 2015 have been awarded to him. 4.

As per clause 11.2 of Parole/Furlough Guidelines-2010, in order to be eligible for release on parole, the conduct of the convict in prison must have been uniformly good.

In view of the fact that petitioner is not having any permanent address and his jail conduct is also not satisfactory, the prayer of the Petitioner for releasing him on parole is declined.

This writ petition is, therefore, dismissed.
