On the last date of hearing i.e. on 18.04.2018, at the request of the parties, the matter was referred to Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

Mediation report has been received as per which the parties have settled their dispute. As per the settlement agreement dated 02.05.2018, the petitioner has paid `30,000/- to the respondent vide Cheque No.624787 dated 03.05.2018 drawn on Corporate Bank, Noida Sector-31 Branch towards full and final settlement of all her claims including reinstatement, back wages, earned wages, earned leaves, bonus, service compensation, gratuity, intervening and the dues (present, past and future), and any other amount including the claims being subject matter of the award dated 31.10.2014.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the cheque has been encashed and the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement dated 02.05.2018 between the parties 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already deposited 50% of the awarded amount with the Registrar General of this court subject to which operation of the award dated 31.10.2014 was stayed. The amount was directed to be kept in the form of an FDR initially for a period of six months with auto-renewal facility. 5.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has no objection if 50% of the awarded amount deposited by the petitioner along with the interest accrued thereon is returned to the petitioner. 6.
In view of the above, 50% of the awarded amount deposited by the petitioner along with the interest accrued thereon be refunded to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement dated 02.05.2018, along with the pending application. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
