% 30.08.2018 Petitioner impugns judgment dated 25.08.2014 whereby appeal filed by the petitioner impugning order of conviction dated 20.12.2013 and order on sentence dated 21.12.2013 was dismissed. Petitioner was convicted of an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and was sentenced to undergo SI for 15 months and to pay compensation of Rs.50,000/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already served the sentence and paid the compensation amount of Rs.50,000/-. He submits that in view of the same, the present petition has become infructuous.
