% 07.01.2016 Petitioner is seeking quashing of the present FIR which has been registered under Sections 328/376/506 of the IPC. In view of the judgment of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Anr. (2012) 10 SCC 303 this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Learned counsel for the State stats that challan shall be filed within an outer limit of two weeks.
Counsel for the petitioner points out that there are no allegations against him and the complainant is in no manner supporting the stand of the prosecution.
Whatever may the consequences, the Trial Court shall deal with the matter in appropriate manner in accordance with law. With these directions, petition disposed of.
