This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of directions to respondents no.1 and 2 to provide protection to them from Respondent No.3. 2.
Status report has been filed by the State.

Petitioners are present in person alongwith their counsel. The petitioners submit that they got married on 15.12.2015 at Arya Samaj Mandir at Delhi against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.1. They further submit that earlier they were apprehending threat from the family members of petitioner No.1 but now their marriage has been accepted by the respective families and they are living happily as husband and wife at the house of petitioner no.2.

Status report has also been filed by the State/R-1 and R-2 mentioning W.P.(CRL) 3017/2015
therein that during inquiry, the parents of petitioner No.1 informed that they have accepted the marriage of their daughter with petitioner no.2 and that their daughter is living happily with her husband. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the marriage of the petitioners has been accepted by the respective family, the petitioners do not want to continue with the petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. 6.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
