O R D E R

% 14.12.2024 The appellant/Insurance Company has filed this appeal for reduction of the award dated 08.10.2015.

After some discussion, it is agreed between the parties that out of the balance amount lying deposited before the Registrar General along with accrued interest, a lump sum amount of Rs. 50,000/- shall be refunded to the Insurance Company and the balance amount along with accrued interest shall be released to the respondent No. 1/claimant.

In view of the above settlement, Registrar General is directed to release the balance amount along with the total interest after deducting a lump sum amount of Rs. 50,000/- to the respondent/claimant, subject to fulfilment of all the requisite formalities. The lump sum amount of Rs. 50,000/- be refunded to the Insurance Company. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The statutory amount with interest, if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company.
