% 11.01.2017 The present writ petition has been filed seeking to restrain the respondent-DDA from interfering with the petitioners' possession and/or forcibly disposing the petitioners from the land comprised in khasra Nos. 1271 (1-2) and 1283 (1-2) total ad measuring 2 bighas 4 biswas, situated in the revenue estate of village Malikpur Kohi @ Rangpuri, New Delhi.

On the previous dates, the present writ petition had been repeatedly adjourned to await the orders in the special leave petitions filed by the respondent-DDA.

Today, it is an admitted position that the SLPs filed by the respondent-DDA have been dismissed and in the said order it has been held, 'It is not in dispute that the possession has not been taken within the time permitted under Section 24(2) of the Act".

In view of the aforesaid order passed by the Supreme Court, the respondent-DDA is restrained from interfering with the petitioners' possession and/or forcibly dispossessing the petitioners from the aforesaid land situated in village Malikpur Kohi @ Rangpuri, New Delhi except in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
