O R D E R

% 22.12.2015 There are 24 petitioners in these proceedings. They seek direction to the respondents to consider the benefits accruing to them under the Assured Carrier Progression Scheme formulated by the Central Government on 09.08.1999.

At the outside, we notice that several petitioners had superannuated even before the framing of this Scheme. Besides, there is no mentioning as to the dates on which the representations were addressed. Considering this, we are of the opinion that fresh representations specifically mentioning the date or dates when the petitioners were employed, and were recipients of promotions, if any, during their career, the date or dates of superannuation should be specifically given in fresh representations made to the respondents.

Each petitioner shall make a separate representation containing the said essential particulars. Within eight weeks of receipt of such representations, the respondents shall verify the details and dates and pass suitable orders in the case of each petitioner, as to the benefits he might be entitled to-either in the form of first upgradation or second upgradation or in case of retirement/superannuation before 09.08.1999, no benefit at all.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. S. RAVINDRA BHAT, J DEEPA SHARMA, J DECEMBER 22, 2015 sapna
