Mr. Changez Khan, learned Counsel for the CBI/Respondent, on instructions, submits that appellant has since expired on 29.12.2019 and his death certificate also stands verified. He further submits that IO has contacted the legal heirs of appellant to verify if they wish to pursue the present appeal, Mr. Anand Kumar, son of appellant has given a declaration that he does not wish to pursue the appeal. Copy of the death certificate as well as declaration given by son of appellant have been handed over in Court, which are taken on record.

In view of the above, the appeal abates and the same is disposed of accordingly.
