The matter was passed over on the first call, as none was present on behalf of the petitioner. Same is the position on the second call. 2.

On 18th January, 2016, counsel for the respondents had sought time to obtain instructions from the department as to what is the fate of the representation/ revision petition dated 25th March, 2013, submitted by the petitioner.

Today, learned counsel for the respondents hands over a copy of the letter dated 19th June, 2013 under the covering letter dated 26th June, 2013, which states that the petitioner's representation dated 25th March, 2013 against the penalty of 'reduction of pay to the lowest stage in the time scale of pay for a period of three years with cumulative effect' was W.P.(C) 319/2016

rejected vide letter dated 7th March, 2013, a copy whereof has been enclosed. The said documents are taken on record. 4.

In view of the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 25th March, 2013, was rejected by the Revisional Authority, which order has not been assailed in this petition, ideally the present petition ought to be dismissed on this ground alone.
